Airports
The City of Madison, Alabama is just minutes away from Huntsville International Airport (HSV), and less than two hours from both Nashville International Airport (BNA) and Birmingham International Airport (BHM).  HSV is the largest commercial airport in North Alabama, serving more than 1.2 million passengers annually. Commercial airlines servicing Huntsville International Airport (HSV) include American, Delta, and United, with nonstop service to 9 destinations, including Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, and two airports in Washington D.C. (Dulles and National).

The HSV airport has two parallel runways, one 10,000 feet, and the other 12,600 feet, with a 5,000-foot separation and 1 million square feet of cargo ramp space. This allows for 24-hour, simultaneous operations during instrument conditions. The facility is equipped for CAT II operations and the high-tech air cargo market is served by domestic and international all-cargo carriers with weekly international nonstop from 5 air carriers to 11 non-stop international locations (including Mexico, Hong Kong, Europe, and Sao Paulo Brazil).  Cargo carriers include Atlas Air, Cargolux Airlines, Federal Express, Panalpina, and UPS.

Rail (Intermodal)
An International Intermodal Center (IIC) is located at the Port of Huntsville, two miles away from Madison, AL.  The IIC provides a single hub location specializing in receiving, transferring, storing, and distributing international and domestic cargo via rail and highway.  The IIC rail terminal is served by Norfolk Southern, with dedicated stack train service to/from both east coast and west coast ports.  U.S. Customs and Border Protection port inspectors, USDA inspectors, freight forwarders, and customs brokers are all located on-site. The Norfolk Southern Rail system bisects Madison and is adjacent to many industrial properties. There are also 14 steamship lines serving the Huntsville IIC.
